DNE science editor wins Cambridge climate diploma

Daily News Egypt’s science editor and reporter Mohammed El-Said’s article was selected as one of the winners of the Climate Tracker Article Competition, part of the Cambridge Climate Lecture Series, and was awarded as one of the five most effective articles tackling the climate change crisis.

El-Said’s article, titled “How is climate change affecting your community today” will be featured alongside four others this year at a Cambridge lecture on climate change.

El-Said will be awarded with Cambridge University diploma for writing about climate change topics.

The competition was launched by Cambridge University and Climate Tracker Organisation, with the aim of raising people’s awareness climate disasters occurring all across the globe. The accepted articles followed certain criterial, which included capturing people’s attention to immediately start taking action regarding their communities.
