Alex Green considers establishing packaging factory with EGP 8m investment

Alex Green for Import and Export intends to establish a packaging factory for vegetables and fruits with investments of EGP 8m in the next year.
The Chairman of Alex Green, Fawzi Nassar, said that the company is currently looking for a suitable plot of land to build its new plant, which is expected to launch in 2018.
Nassar added that his company exports many fresh vegetable such as zucchini, lettuce, beans, celery, tomatoes and other vegetables to many European and East Asian countries.

He pointed out that Alex Green participates in many international exhibitions to learn about the new technology in this field and collect information about the hosting markets such as Russia, Germany and Hong Kong, as well as African markets.
Nassar said that the company’s total exports amounted to $600,000 in the first half (H1) of this year, targeting an increase of $600,000 by the end of this year.

Alex Green is specialized in exporting fresh vegetables and fruits, such as grapes, strawberries, pomegranates, peaches, mangoes, lettuce, red and white cabbage, broccoli, pepper, gold, red onion, green beans, white melons, carrots, garlic, watermelon, chilli, and artichoke.
