Egyptian Ismail Atef wins silver medal in US Open Championship for juniors

Egyptian player Ismail Atef, from the Heliopolis Sporting Club (HSC), won the silver medal for players under 15-years-old during the US Juniors Open Championship for Squash for juniors between the ages of 11-19 years.

Egyptian player Ismail Atef, from the Heliopolis Sporting Club (HSC), won the silver medal for players under 15-years-old during the US Juniors Open Championship for Squash for juniors between the ages of 11-19 years.

This championship that took place in the US city of Boston from 18 to 22 December is considered one of the most important championships for squash players.

In this regardd, technical director of HSC squash team Amr El-Borlousy was very grateful for Atef’s results since this championship had a special international importance. El-Borlousy expects that Atef will join Egypt’s national squash team in the future.

Karim Thabet, Shehab Thabet, and Youssed Asser, from the HSC team, also participated in the competition.
